What To Expect

  • Getting started begins with a conversation focused on getting to know the individual, their strengths, and the areas where support may be helpful. We take time to talk through daily routines, current concerns, and family or school goals while also answering questions and helping everyone feel comfortable with the process.

  • The assessment process helps us better understand how the individual learns, communicates, and responds within their environment. This may include observations, conversations with caregivers or school staff, functional behavior assessments, and skill-based assessments that help guide meaningful and individualized recommendations.

  • After the assessment, personalized goals are developed based on the individual’s unique strengths, needs, and everyday environments. The focus is on building practical skills that improve independence, communication, emotional regulation, social interaction, and overall quality of life.

  • ABA services are individualized and based on the unique needs of the client, family, school team, or residential setting, as well as current service availability within the company caseload. Some individuals may benefit from direct ABA therapy services, while others may receive ongoing consultation, parent coaching, or behavioral support focused on helping caregivers implement strategies and goals within the home or community environment.

Direct ABA services may be provided by the BCBA and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) under the supervision of the BCBA. Services are designed to support meaningful skill development through positive encouragement, consistency, and practical strategies that can be carried over into everyday routines and environments.

  • Progress is most meaningful when families and support teams work together, which is why caregiver collaboration is an important part of the ABA process. Whether support is being provided in a school setting or through parent coaching in the home, we work closely with caregivers, educators, and other team members to help create consistency across environments and build strategies that feel practical, supportive, and realistic for everyday life.

About our company

Graceful Growth ABA was founded by Madeline Walley, BCBA, LBA with the belief that ABA should feel compassionate and practical for the people it serves. Public education is especially close to Madeline’s heart, and much of her work has focused on supporting students with autism and behavioral needs within school settings while helping teachers feel confident through collaboration, training, and practical behavioral strategies within the classroom environment. She also enjoys supporting adults with disabilities in home and community-based settings by teaching independence and meaningful daily living skills through positive behavior supports.

Madeline gained her early experience and clinical training through working in behavioral school settings and HCBS programs in Mobile, AL. Some of whom, she still serves today through Graceful Growth. This experience shaped her belief that people are not defined by their diagnoses or behaviors. At Graceful Growth, the goal is about more than behavior management — it is about teaching skills that help people connect with others in functional ways. Through school consultation, caregiver collaboration, and individualized behavioral support, Graceful Growth ABA brings practical and compassionate ABA services into local schools, homes, and community settings.

Why? Because we care about more than systems — we care about people.
